Days 1-2:
Okavango Delta
Your Tour Kgalagadi begins with a flight from Gaborone to the Okavango Delta, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s most stunning wildlife sanctuaries. Spend the first two days exploring this unique inland delta, where the waterways create a lush paradise teeming with wildlife. Enjoy mokoro canoe rides through the reed-lined channels, guided bush walks, and game drives that offer opportunities to spot elephants, hippos, crocodiles, and an array of bird species. The tranquil beauty of the delta, combined with the thrill of wildlife encounters, sets the perfect tone for your safari journey.
Day 3-4:
Moremi Game Reserve
Next, you will venture into the Moremi Game Reserve, a protected area within the Okavango Delta that is famed for its rich wildlife. Over the course of two days, embark on morning and afternoon game drives to observe lions, leopards, cheetahs, and large herds of buffalo and antelope. The reserve’s diverse habitats, from woodlands to floodplains, provide an incredible backdrop for photography and wildlife viewing. Evenings are spent around the campfire, sharing stories and enjoying the sounds of the African bush.
