Itinerary

Day 1:
Nairobi - Lake Naivasha

Begin your Lake Nakuru Adventure with a morning departure from Nairobi, driving through the scenic Great Rift Valley to Lake Naivasha. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch, enjoying the peaceful lakeside views.

In the afternoon, take a boat ride on Lake Naivasha to spot hippos and a variety of bird species, including fish eagles and pelicans. Visit Crescent Island for a guided walking safari, where you can get close to giraffes, zebras, and antelopes. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, surrounded by the tranquility of the lake.

Day 2:
Lake Naivasha - Samburu National Reserve

After breakfast, leave Lake Naivasha and head north to Samburu National Reserve. The drive takes you through varied landscapes, from the green Rift Valley to the arid north.

Arrive at your lodge in Samburu in time for lunch and some relaxation. In the late afternoon, embark on your first game drive. Samburu is known for its unique wildlife, including Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, and beisa oryx. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, with the sounds of the African wilderness surrounding you.

Day 3:
Samburu - Aberdare National Park

Start your day with an early morning game drive in Samburu, when cooler temperatures make it easier to spot predators and other wildlife. After breakfast, depart for Aberdare National Park, located in Kenya’s central highlands.

Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch, then enjoy a relaxing afternoon. Aberdare is known for its dense forests and beautiful waterfalls. In the evening, experience game viewing from your lodge’s viewing deck, where elephants, buffalos, and other animals visit the waterhole. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 4:
Aberdare - Lake Nakuru N.P

After breakfast, leave Aberdare National Park and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for its large flocks of flamingos and as a sanctuary for rhinos. Arrive at your lodge for lunch, then head out for an afternoon game drive. Explore the park’s diverse ecosystems, from the alkaline lake itself to the surrounding woodlands and grasslands. Spot rhinos, lions, leopards, and a variety of bird species. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, enjoying the peaceful ambiance of the park.

Day 5:
Lake Nakuru - Maasai Mara

After breakfast, leave Lake Nakuru and head to the famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. Enjoy stunning views as you descend into the Great Rift Valley and cross the Mara’s rolling plains.

Arrive at your lodge or camp for lunch and a brief rest. In the late afternoon, set out on your first game drive in the Maasai Mara, home to the Big Five and many other wildlife species. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, with the option to relax by a campfire under the African sky.

Day 6:
Exploring Maasai Mara & Departure

After breakfast, leave Lake Nakuru and head to the famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. Enjoy stunning views as you descend into the Great Rift Valley and cross the Mara’s rolling plains.

Arrive at your lodge or camp for lunch and a brief rest. In the late afternoon, set out on your first game drive in the Maasai Mara, home to the Big Five and many other wildlife species.
