Itinerary

Day 1:
Gaborone - Baines Baobabs

Explore Kalahari Botswana with an early departure from Gaborone to Baines Baobabs, arriving by midday. After checking into your lodge and enjoying lunch, take an afternoon game drive to explore the iconic baobab trees and local wildlife, including elephants and antelope. Conclude the day with dinner and stargazing at your lodge, reflecting on the day’s unique experiences.

Day 2:
Baines Baobabs - Central Kalahari Game Reserve

After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive at Baines Baobabs before heading to the Central Kalahari Game Reserve. Arrive by midday, check into your lodge, and have lunch while soaking in the desert ambiance. In the afternoon, take a game drive to spot wildlife such as oryx, springbok, and cheetahs. Return to your lodge for dinner and a restful night in the Kalahari.

Day 3:
Central Kalahari Game Reserve

Start your day with an early game drive in the Central Kalahari to spot wildlife in the cooler temperatures. Encounter antelope herds, Kalahari lions, and diverse bird species amid the desert’s stark beauty. After lunch and some relaxation, enjoy an afternoon game drive or nature walk. Day 4:
Central Kalahari Game Reserve - Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park

After breakfast, check out and travel to Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. Arrive by midday, settle into your accommodation, and enjoy lunch. Spend the afternoon exploring the park’s red sand dunes and dry riverbeds on a game drive, spotting lions, cheetahs, and various bird species. Return to your lodge for dinner and enjoy the serene Kgalagadi night.

Day 5:
Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park & Departure

On your final day, rise early for a last game drive in the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. This early excursion offers a final opportunity to spot the park’s diverse wildlife and witness the striking desert landscape in the morning light. After breakfast, return to your lodge to pack and check out. You will then be transferred back to Gaborone, arriving in the late afternoon. Reflect on the incredible experiences of the past few days as you prepare for your departure, concluding a memorable safari adventure.
