Day 1:
Chobe National Park
Your Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park exploration begins in Gaborone, the vibrant capital of Botswana. After a morning flight, you’ll arrive at the stunning Chobe National Park, known for its large elephant population and diverse wildlife. The day is spent on a game drive, where you’ll witness majestic elephants, lions, and a variety of bird species in their natural habitat. As the sun sets, you’ll enjoy a peaceful boat cruise along the Chobe River, where you can observe hippos, crocodiles, and elephants bathing at the water’s edge. Dinner is served at your lodge, where you’ll unwind under the African sky.
Day 2-3:
Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park
On the second day, your journey takes you to the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, a vast semi-desert region straddling the border between Botswana and South Africa. The unique red dunes and sparse vegetation provide a striking backdrop for the predators that roam here. Over these two days, you’ll embark on early morning and late afternoon game drives to spot lions, cheetahs, and hyenas. The evenings are spent around a campfire, sharing stories of the day’s adventures while stargazing in one of the clearest skies in the world.
