Itinerary

Day 1:
Nairobi - Sweetwaters

Begin to Tour The Ol Pejeta with an early morning departure from Nairobi, driving through the scenic Kenyan countryside to Sweetwaters Game Reserve, part of Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Arrive at your lodge for lunch and a short rest. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive to spot elephants, lions, and rhinos. Visit the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary to see rescued chimpanzees and learn about their care. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, surrounded by the peaceful African wilderness.

Day 2:
Sweetwaters - Ol Pejeta Conservancy

After breakfast, drive to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, known for its rich wildlife and conservation efforts. Begin with a morning game drive, spotting the Big Five, Grevy’s zebras, and Jackson’s hartebeest. Visit the Endangered Species Enclosure to see the last two northern white rhinos and learn about their protection. After a picnic lunch, continue with an afternoon game drive or visit the Lion Tracking Programme to explore predator conservation. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, reflecting on the day’s experiences.

Day 3:
Ol Pejeta - Aberdare National Park

After breakfast, leave Ol Pejeta and drive to Aberdare National Park, known for its dense forests, waterfalls, and wildlife. Arrive at your lodge for lunch and enjoy a relaxing afternoon. In the evening, watch animals like elephants and buffaloes visit the waterhole from your lodge’s viewing deck. Aberdare is also known for nocturnal sightings, so look out for hyenas, leopards, and giant forest hogs. End the day with dinner and an overnight stay, surrounded by the peaceful Aberdare forests.
