Itinerary
After an early breakfast at the city hotel, we will depart for a magical drive descending the Great Rift Valley and onwards to Maasai Mara National Reserve, Kenya’s famous game reserve. Stop briefly en route at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint to enjoy the stunning views of the enormous valley system, which is said to be visible from outer space. We will arrive on time for lunch at the camp.
After lunch, we will have an afternoon game drive, which will allow us to spot the magnificent wildlife in the park. Bordering Tanzania, the Mara is in the northern extension of Serengeti and forms a wildlife corridor between the two countries where the great wildebeest migration can be viewed. In the Mara River, throngs of hippos and crocodiles lurk. The reserve is also known for providing excellent predator sightings thanks to its relatively large population of lion, cheetah and leopard. Later, we will drop you off at the camp for dinner and overnight.
